1. Fruit Ninja
The aim of this game is to smash as much fruits as possible by swiping across the screen. At the same time, the users should avoid the bombs that would appear on the screen. The more fruits smashed in one swipe, the higher the score will be.
Even without indicating the instructions of how the game would work, the game is still easy to understand because of the captions and its friendly user interface. For example, in the home page, a caption is provided stating "slice fruit to begin." Although, since majority of the applications would require users to click, the developers of this game have provided a hand swiping over an option in the menu to guide the users on how to handle the application.
As I have mentioned, the game has a user friendly interface. As the users would swipe onto the fruits, the users are able to visualize the actual juice coming from the fruit, making the game more realistic.
2. Talking Tom Cat
This application focuses more on the entertainment side. As users speak onto their mic, the cat on the screen would copy what the user would say. Also, the cat would be responding to the action of the user, based on the icons that are clicked on the screen. What makes this application interesting is its ability to detect what a person is saying, despite what language an individual is using. Also, the user interface is simple in a sense that the screen only includes minimal icons that are easy to understand. The functions of the application is accurate. As the user does an action towards the cat, a certain response will be provided by the cat.

3. Fieldrunners HD
This application is a tower defense game that requires strategic planning from the users. There will be different types of enemies that would be coming out from the left side of the screen. The strength of these enemies varies. Some are strong, while the others would already be killed with just one hit.
The aim of this game is to kill the enemies in order for them to be unable to reach the end, which is on the right side of the screen. Users have to strategize on which weapons they will be dragging and dropping onto the game play area to prevent the enemies from reaching the other end. However, the weapons may not be dragged and dropped anytime. These weapons would still require money, which will be gained every time there are kills made.
The overall concept of the game was well-designed. The user interface was designed to fit the functions of the game. Also, to make the game more challenging, the enemies were not only limited to the ground. Helicopters are also included in the game. The other enemies are tanks and soldiers with different capabilities in handling the weapons.
Worst Android Mobile Apps
1. Stupid Zombies

The concept of the game was well designed. Although, I believe that the user interface lacked attractiveness to allow more users to play the game. For one, the facial expressions of the zombies are static. Only blood is added when a bullet strikes through the zombie. Also, the main character who will be aiming the bullet is also static on the lower left side of the screen. The functionality and usability may be easily understood. Though, the game still lacks interaction with the users since it is only limited to aiming the zombies from the lower left side corner.

2. Zombie Ninja
This game concept of Zombie Ninja is similar to fruit ninja. Although this time, the aim is to slash ninjas. In terms of its graphics, the game lacked an attractive user interface. The zombies are like only attached to the background. Furthermore, the zombies were not properly edited. Additionally, the positioning of the score was not properly done. It is like floating out of nowhere. The combination of the background, font used, and the zombies did not match each other.
3. The Stupid Test
The Stupid Test is one of the applications which provides direct and ambiguous questions. An application like this is senseless since the answers are usually based on the perspective of the developers of the application. Some of the answers make users think in 2 ways. Overall, the application is not really educational. Although, what I find interesting about this application is the song it has used for the background. However, the song can't make up for the overall of the application. The usability and functions may sometimes still be confusing if the user is not able to answer a certain question. It may allow some users to think that the question only consists of bugs or the application does not work properly; thus, leading users to get bored of using the application. Additionally, as the end games and the user wants to play again, the user has to start all over from the top, allowing repetition to occur. I believe that what is important in making an application is the different experience the users may encounter every time the application is used.
